What Makes Bridgeland Different?

Rather than being designed around individual subdivisions, Bridgeland was planned as a collection of interconnected villages linked by parks, lakes, trails, open space, and future commercial districts.

According to the developer's master plan, the community includes approximately:

  • 3,000 acres of open space
  • about 900 acres of lakes
  • an extensive trail network with more than 250 planned miles
  • multiple recreation centers
  • nature preserves
  • neighborhood parks
  • community gathering spaces

The intent is to integrate residential neighborhoods with recreation, commercial development, and civic amenities throughout the community.
